PERKINS' 14 CD Release
Bsx records announced the release of the soundtrack PERKINS' 14. It will be availabe on 3/2/2011 and it can be pre-ordered as of February 22nd. This a limited edition of 1000 units. The first 100 copies will be autographed by composer Kostas Christides.

ASSALTO AO SANTA MARIA
Re-arranging and making a suite out of the Love Theme of the movie, for recording it in Prague at the end of the month. Large string section, woodwinds, brass amd harp. Piano solo will be overdubed in Los Angeles where the mix will take place too.

THEM GREEKS...!
Another animation with another Greek director Spyros Tsiounis, First draft of music, themes and motifs scored on story boards. When the musical thematic material is agreed then the animators will start their magic based on the musical facts. Tempo, style, mood etc. The recordings will include live bouzouki, guitars, clarinet, piano and percussion.

HUMAN NATURE
Kostas collaborates with Nassos Vakalis again, after "CRIME TIME SERIES". This is an animation film that Mr. Vakalis wrote and directed. The score will be produced at Kostas' studio, mainly with electronics but definitely with organic sounds and an acoustic feel to it.

BLACK TULIP - RECORDING SESSIONS
Five days of recording sessions with an awesome ensemble of ethnic intruments. Saz, Ud, Kamanche, Ghaychak, Duduk, Zurna, Sharode, Cumbus, Rubab, Harmonium, Tambur, Dulcimer, Udu and Bouzouki are some of them. Great vocals by MC RAI and Ehsan Aman. Long but superb sessions.

BLACK TULIP
This an Afghan film directed by Sonya Nassery Cole. The scoring will start in the first week of August. This is a collaboration with Christopher Young, who is going to write the themes and the songs which will perfomed by the fantastic Natalie Cole and one of the most famous Afghan singes Ehsan Aman.

COMIC CON 2010 - SAN DIEGO
The documentary "With great power: The Stan Lee story" will be screened at Comic Con in San Diego on the 24th of July.

PRIEST
Orchestrating for this sci-fi action film by Screen Gems. Original score by Christopher Young. The recording sessions will take place in September in Bratislava, Slovakia. Massive orchestra, big sound!!!

WITH GREAT POWER: THE STAN LEE STORY
The score was recorded at Capitol Records Studio A and B, with 92 piece orchestra and 40 member choir. It was recorded by Bobby Fernandez and conducted by Dean Anderson. The session was a fantastic moment for a lot of student musicians who they were part of the orchestra and they had their first studio recording experience for a film.

WITH GREAT POWER: THE STAN LEE STORY
Kostas starts scoring a great documentary about the legend of comic books Stan Lee. This is a "1821 pictures" production and has been in the makings for the last four years. The recording session is scheduled for April 2010

The movie opens in selected theaters throughout US as part of the "HORRORFEST III: 8 FILMS TO DIE FOR"

LOVE HAPPENS
The Universal production LOVE HAPPENS with Jennifer Aniston and Aaron Ekchart is beeing released worldwide. Kostas worked on this movie as an additional composer and an orchestrator.

ASSALTO AO SANTA MARIA
Kostas, together with his good friend Nuno Malo, is scoring the Portuguese Production "Assalto ao Santa Maria". A film about a group of Portuguese and Spaniard rebels who seized the "Santa Maria", the "jewel" of Portuguese Navy, in order to oppose to the regimes of Salazar in Portugal and Franco in Spain

DARK RIDE CD Release
On January 10th BSX Records released the score for the horror movie Dark Ride, directed by Craig Singer. The cd also features the DARK RIDE THEME which was co-composed by Christopher Young and Kostas Christides.
